Andrzej Graczyk – He was born in 1965 in Begno near Płock.
He is a recognized folk sculptor. He has received awards and distinctions, his works adorn museum and private collections.
“Bird” is the artistic pseudonym of Andrzej Graczyk.
Its hallmark is wooden birds.
Why the birds? The artist lives near the forest, he likes to observe them, listen to them sing, they associate them with freedom and space. Andrzej Graczyk divides his birds into domestic, heavenly and fanciful.
His trademark are guinea fowls, which he has been carving for over 30 years.
