Andzrzej Wojtczak – (born 1950) was born and raised in Kutno.
In 1975, he turned to carving for good.
For many years he has been carving linden wood because it is “plastic” and can be formed best.
In addition to the sculptural compositions discussed above, there are also bas-reliefs, mainly in the form of a triptych with movable, double-sided wings.
He tries to refer to folk customs and rituals. Creative activity has become a way of life for him and it is difficult for him to imagine parting.
Meanwhile, he is aware that sculpting work requires a lot of effort, which sometimes he may not be able to cope with. That is why he sees the continuation of his work in painting.
