Eugeniusz Zegadlo – Pieta

Carved in a linden wood sculpture in a type of pieta with Virgin Mary keeping her son’s dead body on her knees. Mary’s face carved beautifully with big eyes, rosy cheeks and masterly contoured hair under a blue veil. The figures carved in a soft and artistic way. The colours of the sculpture kept in a golden-brown pallet.
