The Żuków school was established in 1935, largely adopting the tradition of post-monastery embroidery of the Norbertines
The Żuków school is based on seven colors: three shades of blue, red, yellow, green and black. Some items are sometimes done in brown, such as a basket or a vase.
The following stitches are used: single and double twine, flat (satin) stitch, cross, block and knots. Currently, it is the most widespread and recognizable school of Kashubian embroidery.
