Józef Stańczyk – Painting Easter eggs

Józef Stańczyk was born in 1953.

In the 1980s he joined a group of sculptors creating a specifically shaped “Kutno style”.

It is a style characterized by the accumulation of several rows of figures in a single block in a horizontal arrangement.

He sculpts religious motifs, biblical and ritual scenes, figurines of angels, and devils as an element of the beliefs of the Łęczyca region.

It has its own style and uses rich colors, creating in linden wood.
